Cozy Sudoku, Cozy Nonogram and itsagirl.studio · Effective
One policy for all our games and for this website. The games have no accounts, no ads and no tracking. The website uses Google Analytics, and only after you accept it.
In the games
This part covers Cozy Sudoku and Cozy Nonogram, on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
What stays on your devices
Everything you do in a game, profiles, puzzle progress, streaks, statistics, and settings, is stored on your device. If you are signed into iCloud, this data syncs through your personal iCloud account (Apple's private database) so it follows you across your devices. We have no access to it: it lives under your Apple ID, not on our servers. We operate no servers of our own.
Anonymous crash reports
So that bugs get found and fixed, a game sends an anonymous crash report when it crashes. These reports contain technical diagnostics only: the device model, operating system version, app version, and the technical trace of the crash. They are not linked to your identity; the games never collect your name, email address, contacts, or location, and reports contain no puzzle or profile data. Crash reports are processed by Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) on servers in the European Union and are retained for at most 90 days. This is the only data that ever leaves your device to us, and it is used for one purpose: fixing bugs.
Optional Apple services
If you choose to use Game Center, achievements are reported to Apple's Game Center service under Apple's own privacy policy. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store; we never see your payment details. The optional daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device; it involves no server. When you own more than one of our games, they share a small record on your device saying which games and passes you own, so a purchase in one game is honoured in the other. That record never leaves your device.
Children
Kids World is designed for young players and collects no personal data from children. Kids profiles cannot make purchases, cannot access Game Center, and contain no external links. Progress for kids profiles is stored the same way as everything else: on your device and in your family's own iCloud.
Deleting your data
Deleting a profile in a game removes its data from your devices and your iCloud sync. Deleting a game removes all of its local data. You can also manage a game's iCloud data at any time in your device's iCloud settings. Crash reports expire automatically within 90 days.
On this website
Google Analytics, only if you accept
With your permission, this website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read and where visitors come from. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google the page you visit, your browser and device type, and your approximate location; Google Analytics does not store your IP address. We use it only to understand what people read here, never for advertising, and we have turned off Google's advertising features.
Nothing is loaded from Google until you choose Accept in the cookie notice. If you choose Decline, no analytics cookie is set and no request goes to Google. Your choice is kept in your own browser, and you can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Google Ireland Limited processes the data on our behalf; it may be transferred to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months.
Fonts and images
The fonts and images are served from this website itself, so they send no request to Google or any other third party.
Server logs
Like every web server, ours keeps a standard access log: the IP address, the browser, the page requested and the time. It is used only to keep the website secure and working, is never used to profile visitors, and is deleted automatically as the logs rotate.
The Cozy Nonogram launch note
When you email us to ask for the launch note, we keep your email address for one purpose: sending you a single email when Cozy Nonogram launches. We do not add you to a newsletter, and we never share or sell your address. After the launch email is sent, the list is deleted. You can ask to be taken off it at any time by replying or writing to [email protected].
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, by writing to [email protected]. If you are not happy with the answer, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date. Questions are welcome at [email protected].
